Bar-coding means that stock records are 100% accurate – even down to product variations such as size and colour.
We rely heavily on the labelling of every product and carry out regular cycle counts on a daily basis to manage our stock levels across two sites. A key feature within Trader is the ability to use wireless scanners for this purpose, allowing products to be quickly scanned, centrally managing stock levels in both sites.
Before running Trader we were using a combination of paper-based order books and spreadsheets to record sales. We now benefit from a fast, user friendly point of sale system which provides us with valuable day to day reports.
