Our Project Management methodology is designed to ensure that you maximise the benefits from your investment in Trader.
Based on firm project management principles and the experience gained from many hundreds of software implementations. It is structured to enable you to transition to your new system on time and on budget with the minimum of disruption to your ongoing business.
The Project Manager will oversee the entire implementation process from the pre-implementation meeting through to after go-live. This single point of contact will provide consistency of approach and take responsibility for ensuring the successful progress and completion of the project.
Pre implementation
Every project begins with a Pre-Implementation meeting where our Project Manager and members of the Project Team meet with your project staff.
Through this meeting we will together define and agree a project plan with realistic goals and sensible allocation of time so that we can transition to the new system whilst your staff still perform their normal tasks.
Business consultancy
Our Consultants have experience of the business processes and systems in many other retail merchants and they will share this knowledge and experience with you.
As well as advising on how Trader can be implemented to meet your current requirements, they will allow for growth and change in the configuration and may recommend improvements to your existing processes to improve efficiency or to provide improved management information and control.
Data conversion
We can advise and assist with data migration and/or conversion from your old system to Trader. Appropriate migration and conversion is critical to the success of your project as it affects both the transition and the long-term ability to report on and analyse what has been happening in the company.
We have various tools for data cleansing, transfer and manipulation and will discuss your requirements in the context of what is both practical and productive.
This activity is planned early on in the project and often test migrations are undertaken early on to provide realistic data for testing and training.
